  • Personalized Pharmacy Service

    Experienced Staff
Rx Advantage employs a highly experienced staff with hundreds of years of experience in the long term care industry. Personnel include: Dispensing Pharmacist, Consulting Pharmacist, Licensed Administrator, Licensed Nurses, Account Managers, and Nationally Certified Technicians.

    State of the Art Dispensing
Rx Advantage provides many dispensing packages for the Long-Term Care Community. Our featured delivery system is the Advantage Pac which supplies routine oral solid medications in multi-unit dose packaging. The Advantage Pac is cycled filled, thus the facility personnel are not responsible for requesting refills on routine maintenance medications.
Rx Advantage also offers unit-dose blister card packaging and oral liquid medications that are dispensed in 30 day supplies or via manufactured stock containers. Refills for unit-dose blister cards, bulk items, narcotics or any other non-cycle fill items are processed by Rx Advantage receiving a request on Refill Request Form via facsimile.

Rx Advantage provides all equipment needed to function with our system, including medication and treatment carts. These carts are provided specifically for our Advantage Pac by MMI Med Carts and each cart includes a Silent Knight (pill crusher). Fax machines, pharmacy policy and procedures manuals, nursing handbooks and emergency drug kits (EDKís) are also provided.

Rx Advantage delivers medications once every 24 hours, 6 days per week on a scheduled agreed upon by Rx Advantage and the facility. Each delivery will be accompanied with a manifest detailing its contents by prescription number, patientís name and quantity of medication.

    Emergency Service
On-call pharmacist service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so your residents will never have to go without a needed medication.
